"This track has strange asphalt that has less grip than what we're used to but that still wears the tyres" - Valentino Rossi.

@ Talentfan, in answer to your question I would say probably not. Mind you a Ducati spokeman publicly apologised to Rossi for not putting the right bike under him. Jerry also said that he and Rossi were frustrated because they still had the same problems that they started the year with.
Nevertheless your points are valid.

In my opinion, VR couldn't balance the propoportion of entertaining sport & entertaining bussiness. Past times he's brilliantly did. Now, he act more weight to his bussiness. It's hard to call him sportsman right now. Sorry for my english.

Ducati should sack Rossi immediately. The whole project has been a disaster that has brought nothing but bad publicity for the company but being outqualified by a CRT, more than a second slower than Hayden, is a new low for Rossi and Ducati.

Now a situation has been reached where Rossi is going to Yamaha for 2013 and clearly no longer has any interest in either developing the Ducati or pushing it to anywhere near its limit, he should be sacked and immediately replaced by a talented rider who is willing to work.

Ducati, you are in a hole! Stop digging!
