The battle between Vinales and Cortese reminds me of the Marquez-Bradl battle of just year, Vinales is the faster of the two and comfortably outscores Cortese in number of wins (5 to 2) but is far less consistent and is dropping behind in the championship.

You are right, but Vinales is usually the first who breaks away because he always has good starts. Cortese usually slips back to 6th-8th place, then he overtakes the better starters and catches Vinales who is in the front from the first moments.
