well done to dani, but Lorenzos just having a dream season where luck is just falling into his place!! if ben hadnt blown his engine lorenzo would have lost some more points. Now with casey effectively out of the championship with cruel luck, its become a two horse race. However, sprinkle a little rain and dani will be nowhere. Im pretty sure Lorenzo will win the championship this year even though i would like dani to

Within the first few comments we have total ***** claiming Stoner only passed because of some mythical top speed advantage. Look at the official timing and you will see that Davisioso had exactly the same average top speed as Stoner. You will see that Bautista had a faster average top speed. Despite the fact that it was a long straight and you could SLIPSTREAM,

@WylieCoyote It isn't worth explaining how corner exits affect "straight line speed" - they've never ridden bikes. It's great that Rossi attracts fans to MotoGP. It's unfortunate that they're so ignorant of the basics.

Great win by Pedrosa there. Really made it look rather easy. Shame about Spies' engine blow-up but it's irritating seeing all these conspiracies about Yamaha not letting Spies stay ahead of Lorenzo etc. Simple fact is Ben has been having bad luck. Conversely Jorge's could not be better. Stoner admirable effort to get 4th injured so fairplay. People go on about Dovi getting 'hand-me-down' podiums but he's getting them. That's what matters. Rossi just wasn't trying. He has a contract next year and has seen 2 Duke riders injured over the course of the weekend and he was nearly the third in quali. Good news is the championship is now getting interesting. Stoner may be fading out of the race but Pedrosa is very much in it, and this is his best chance he's ever had for the title thus far. And to think people thought he would struggle with the 1000cc bikes.

Joe Blow....you are a knob. Did Casey and Pedrosa ever race on the same machinery in 250cc? Nope. In 2006 Casey was the only Aprilia in the top 5 and outscored the next Aprilia by over 100 points. Oh, and he just happened to thrash Lorenzo that year as well. Of course Pedrosa is better, thats why Stoner did in his first year on Honda that Pedrosa couldn't in the previous 8.
