This has to be for financial reasons on dorna's agenda because it certainly isn't for the racing.
The riders don't like it and neither do the fans but hey as long as Dorna get paid what does that matter.

It's was fortunate that the 'wild card' entry who held up Lorenzo for so long in the infield didn't have any influence on the outcome of the race. The commentators said that they don't have blue flags at the US rounds. Why the hell not? Edwards had the common sense and oourtesy to look over his shoulder and move over safely when he was being lapped. On such a dangerous and slippery track which ruins racing because the reward for going off line is likely to be a free trip in an ambulance, then they should, at the very least, have blue flags and enforce the rule when stupid backmarkers refuse to get out of the way. Rapp wasn't in a battle for position of his own to justify his behaviour.

I am new to the MotoGP and learning by research, attending and other race fans. Can someone please tell me what makes Indy's track horrible compared to other tracks? I live in Indy and enjoy seeing the race every year. So I would love if they could make the track better in hopes of keeping the race here. So what would have to change?
