contd. - It was most probably just bad luck that the failures happened to Spies and not Lorenzo so he could've easily lost 40 points in the USA. The pressure's on their engineers now as much as the rider not to blow the championship.

considering dani's dominant performance, and the fact casey will take a while to get fully fit, and he's retiring, is dani now "number one" rider in the honda garage?

He probably should be, even though casey is world champion and is almost certainly the better rider.

will there be much difference either way? it'll be interesting to see if casey can still turn it around,i wouldn't put it past him, but the hill is getting bigger and steeper

A fully fit Dani on the best bike on the grid this could be his year and about time too.

Casey has more wins this year but Dani has more points been the fastest rider is not always what wins the Championship.

Stoner may be the current WC but that was based on last-years' bike, riding and competition, clearly. Not this years'.

C'est la vie, Monsieur Stoner.

Maybe you can knock Lorenzo and Pedrosa out of a race or two and still finish in the points yourself.

What so funny this indi race is living in my mind. Sorry, i cant keep it stay there & write down here.

Ben point is little behind VR, Nicky has pass VR score since Laguna seca, Top CRT rider RDP better result in Quali.
And..then..all of them got bad luck.
And..brightly shining Barbera have no chance anymore to beat VR.

Hahahaha.. i said nothing..but it's so funny

Yamaha must have threatened to sue or something. It seemed to me Yamaha(Lin Jarvis) decided to give Ben the oldest engine possible on race day out of spite. Pathetic.

Hope Dani finally wins a championship and by beating the arrogant Lorenzo and Stoner. That would be great. A lot of people have given Dani a bad wrap because he hasn't won a championship but this guy with all his injuries in past years just keeps plugging away like the energizer bunny. He may be soft spoken and underassuming but he tries his best and you never hear him say anything negative about the team, bike, or other riders.
