Dovi couldn't cut it on a factory Honda. He won't cut it on a factory Yam either. The guy won one lucky Grand Prix in half wet circumstances.
He's looking pretty scoring thirds because other riders are out of the equasion at the moment.
He's reluctant to take the Ducati ride and rightly so because it's a career wrecker but it will be his last shot at a factory ride.

The Honda and Yamaha are two completely different bikes. Though on a factory Honda, he never was strong, the Tech3 Yamaha suites him and his record shows. He may not have got the podiums this year by beating the Repsols or Jorge head-head, but he is the fourth best there after Jorge, Casey and Dani.

Guesses would be that he may be strong enough to beat Jorge on the factory Yamaha, but surely will be more competitive than Ben.
