The kid spits fire from his mouth sometimes but with today's MotoGP I'm almost starting to sheer him up for that.
Even with his sometimes egoistic attitude, todays performance puts him in my book of heros alongside Nicky Hayden, Jorge Lorenzo, Cal Crutchlow.

"Stoner is being owned by his team mate! They've got the newest bike on the grid from the best factory on the grid. No wonder Honda did not make any effort to retain him. Seem to me Honda is happy to let him go. It's all downhill from here Casey. Dejavu Ducati 2008-2010."

First up, Casey has 4 wins this year, Dani has 2, so how in hell is he "owning him"
Secondly - Dani is a fine rider, no shame in having him finish a place or two in front of you occasionally. He beat Jorge, Dovi,VR etc today without effort.
Third - I still think the Yamaha is the best bike on the grid, no chatter complaints from JLO or BS.
Fourth - Casey still won on the Ducati in 2008-10, something VR or NH can't do today.
Fifth - How do you know if Honda tried to retain CS or not. You don't know Sh*t
Sixth - Poorly brought up, poorly educated, disrespectful and ignorant fools should not be allowed to post on this site.

its been a total pleasure being a supporter of stonsey all these years .
nothing is forever , and this guy has delivered his utmost to his fans every single race and session he has rode in.
even those who dislike him know that , its what gets them angry at him.
Australia don't produce a lot of racers , but when they do they are always made of solid steal with brutal minds.
thanks once again stonsey for displaying hard core guts and talent at indi , was the only one really involved in multiple battles in an otherwise pretty ordinary race.

Big respect to Stoner for riding today.

No big achievement passing CRT bikes when on a prototype but in my opinion

Stoner IS the most talented and fastest rider in GP's in recent history.

I would say Lorenzo is the most consistent and uses 90% to 95% of the bike.

Stoner is pure speed / talent and uses 100% of whatever bike he rides.

Next year will be sad without him.

Honestly I am pretty sick of all the negative trolls on here.

Why are you people such haters and so negative ?

Each of these riders are highly skilled and risk their lives to race for glory and entertain us.

Why do some of you people really need to insult others or try to belittle the riders?

I bet most of you who do that have never even ridden a motorcycle let alone raced one.

Please stop being a pathetic negative person. Don't waste your life with such hate.

Never understood the anger people held of Stoner and this from the couch attitude that he owed the fans something. Clearly today is showing everyone what they will be missing. Anyone saying this guy doesn't have heart or is just going through the motions this season to collect the last paycheck needs their head examined.

The title of the story calls it what it was, Gritty.

The man is a legend and showed serious b@lls. When Andrea passed him and raised his hand at showed his class.

Great race between the two of them. And well done Pedro.

Ben Spies...Poor poor poor guy.

Didn't think he'd race, let alone fight for the podium. Respect.
Watching the race I thought Dovi raised his hand to thank Casey for letting him through, reading on here maybe you guys are right. Maybe he was showing concern.
