@ Never say never
I to have these boots, But no motor cycle boot stops you foot being rotated horizontally. Casey ankle broke bones due the hyper rotation after dislocation.

Just to clear up another point, as Shuhei Nakamoto said " this year is strange because usually tyre construction never changes during the season, but this year they bring a new construction tyre now". Not sure why, given Honda and some Ducati rider though it was unsafe.

Namamoto was also told the previously approved tyre was not longer approved thus they could not continue to used it. Why would MotoGP do this, as they stated that the tyre change was for safety, yet some riders stressed it was unsafe.. so for safety why would MotoGP not let them use the approved tyre any longer...

For Hondas sake I really hope Dani beat JL just to stick to "Ezpeleta the manipulator"

Indy is a **** track. It has taken a couple of high ranking riders out now, I hope it will start a discussion. I know sales in the States are interesting but they have to look at safety of the riders. Stoners crash pretty much takes him out of the title hunt.

To see Rossi in that circumstances is not possible. No balls to do that. Even if he did the same and be 4th he would moan about wrong tyres, still talks about ankle, painkillers were too low so he couldn't be 1st, a lot of bad stuff. And actualy he just makes numbers and it's the biggest humble for an alien. Even Spies fate is better that that.

I have never been a real fan of Mr No Personality Stoner, however, that ride yesterday was one of the most amazing I have seen, second only to Cals with his injury! It will be a shame to lose him next season.

Man Utd are better than Tottenham because they won more trophies, Schumacher is better than Button because he won more championships. Federer is better than Murray because he has won more titles. Stoner is better than everyone because he has won - two. Yes he is a great rider but greatness is judged on careers not a single grand prix or one season. Hailwood, Agostini, Doohan,Rossi, Nieto etc are the greatest of all time, Casey is the next step down - fantastic, brave, world championship material but over a career - no not the greatest. I don't hate Casey, I don't love Rossi, I love racing and he has added greatly to the show, his riding style will be missed, so will Rossi when he goes, so will Colin Edwards, Dani, Jorge, we miss Marco, Dajiro and the rest who have gone before. All the top riders have ridden hurt, yesterdays was one of the bravest we have seen, it doesn't make him better, worse, braver or otherwise. He's a motorcycle racer.

@Alison46

Nice post, glad you can see beyond the usual bias, he's proved all the doubters wrong, plus if he as you say has no personality then how come he's got such a lovely devoted wife.
