This is from Bikesportnews

A source inside the project told there are currently two paths to the development of the new MotoGP bike. One is to have a a test team, solely working on the GSV-R and have one rider wildcard at various events.

The second is to re-instate the Suzuki World Superbike team and whichever rider is chosen for that will also do the test and development work on the GSV-R with less MotoGP appearances.

I hope Ben goes to Suzuki personally he has had a great relationship with them from AMA days.

I'm indonesian, and english is not my primary language, but even so, in my ears, the statement just mean "if you (ben) can't win, so dont go in line (in the front) of jorge" thats it! Its simply a fair team order. As everyone know, jorge is hunting the championship with obstacles of two strong repsol honda rider with their 2013 engine! So jorge needs every help he can achieve, thats all. It may sound unfair, but for me, for the sakes of the team, I think its acceptable. lin only want the best for his team and their riders.
About the repeating bike problem, I dont think yamaha would risk to sabotage the ben bike, coz they must be know it can hurt they names as a factory bike. Maybe its the team or the way they treating the bike every weekend, i dont know, im not sure about this one

Isn't at this level of racing the team would ultrasonic scan the frame for crack after crashing? The broken sub-frame at Qatar and broken swing arm at Laguna Seca were obviously Yamaha's fault.

I won't say sabotage but ignorance obvious it was.

@ infamous

at the end of July the italian press talked very decisively about Spies being set to race with BMW in 2013. Since BMW teams have very close relations with Italy I think it may be reliable

but we'll see...

if something serious happens to Spies there will probably be some criminal investigation against Yamaha. it's that bad.
(For example Monza track in under investigation by italian authorities because of the asphalt and the many falls in WSBK race...)

If as so many here think that Yamaha sabatoged Ben's bike, do they also think Yamaha poisoned him? I don't think Yamaha is doing anying dastardly to Spies, it wouldn't be in anyone's best interest, but apparently they have some issues in team management.

Ben is a very fast rider with a winning attitude. I agree with an earlier post that he should take Alvaro Bautista's Gresini Honda ride and then go and whip Jorge and Valentino. Hey Honda, Imagine the motivation Spies will have chasing them blue Yamahas from the seat of arch rival HONDA!

Ben said he won't comment at this time back in July. Most of us do not understandthe Moto GP politics. But he does. Colin Edwards says that his bike is a pile of garbage, and maybe the best part of not working for Yamaha is that he is allowed to say that, and speak more freely. Ben however is not. I cant wait to hear the truth from Ben. Moto GP was suppose to be the highest achievement and greatest series in all motorcycle racing. If it truly were, then why are the top riders, people who worked so hard to get there choosing to leave? Casey Stoner, like him or not is at the very top and he said enough of this bull****! There is most certainly a major problem in Moto Gp, and its not these great riders!
