WSBKfan - You make me wish I'd bothered to read some of the comments on that thread now. What were they like? Rootin' and a tootin' gun-toting Spies fans threatening to lynch Jarvis and Yamaha?

@ robain ..... 'NONE of them give 100%, they ALL give 110%. Saying a racer doesn't give 100% is like saying the Pope is Jewish ... complete and utter BS.'

Rewind about 2 years ago, and Rossi was saying the total opposite to you, so if Rossi said it, he must be right and your wrong. But then again, we all know how that turned out.

And Rossi has even told us himself that he has not been pushing to the limit so to say that everyone puts 100% in is complete and utter BS.

Yes they might all try hard, but to many different degrees, Rossi and Stoner being prime examples at the complete opposite ends of the scale.

Maybe I'm too "old school" to understand but in my opinion "you make your own luck" Ben's engine failure was probably caused by over enthusiastic approach and absolute lack of empathy for his bike. You have to have a lot of feel for your motor. Treat it with some care. Engines are not "bulletproof" you saw what happened to Jorge's bike at Assen. Jorge ran like a demon when he heard it about to blow. they can obviously be over revved if you want to run them that hard. the commentator on TV said it was nobody's fault. WTF does he know. TOTALLY BEN'S FAULT
