Man, this guy is really, really impressive, he is riding far greater than last year, he has proven he can quickly adapt to different machinery and get consistent results on a non satellite bike, if he gets a factory ride, watch out, because his riding can only get better

Good job this race Dovi. You fought Stoner - albeit an injured Stoner - and came out ahead. It's unfortunate that the podium runs will come to an end in 2013. Have fun while you can.

I think Dovi is very consistent and fast. He had a lot of fouth place finishes last year on the Repsol Honda with the likes of Stoner, Jorge, Pedrosa and Simoncelli to battle. I think he's riding about the same level this year on the Yamaha but has been fortunate to have people drop out in front of him.

I wish him good luck at Ducati. I imagine Audi will demand that the bike is competitive next year and Dovi will be dicing for podiums.

Never understood why Cal was in the running for the Ducati seat over Dovi. OK Cal may be more of a personality, I guess going home to wife and kids is pedestrian. But maybe that is what is needed in building a successful campaign. It is certainly working for Dovi.
