@Realist,

"Smart race. Bringing it home is/was better than binning the bike. Just a few more races Rossi and the nightmare is over."

Why does he bother to turn up. Stoner rides with a broken ankle, and pushes all up til the 2 last lap. If it was Rossi with a broken ankle he would not have even tunred up, as he would be playing it safe in his doll house.

@Princess Rossi

he already done that, actually rode with a broken Leg
and still managed podiums,

unlike Stoner, only managed the drive home to the garage
and try to get some pitty staying on his bike with his head down crying

he may well start winning next year, but thats not the point, the fact is he isnt trying and is just cruising about.

That is unacceptable, so what he is leaving he is still being paid more than anyone else on that grid and his contract does not end for about 4months. The lack of performance he is putting in he should be put on gardening leave instantly he is embarressing himself and ducati.

and to think some people call him the GOAT

Oh thats right he lost the championship to Lorenzo that year even though Lorenzo was kicking his **** in points . Then it was his shoulder so he couldn't ride the Ducati the way he wanted then it was the frame then the swingarm then he was too tall for the bike then the engine when is he going to say I'm too scared of bikes now?

Difficult to compare injuries. Rossi had an open fracture of his tibia and fibula. That is not the same as a dislocated ankle with tendon ruptures. it needs to be pinned so you can't race. With an open fracture there is the added chance of infection, they have to close the wound first.

But you guys probably jump back on your lawnmower straight after breaking a bone and win handsdown in the backyard :p

Its a real shame that Rossi does not give his best on a bike that everyone claims is a POS.
Im a Rossi fan (and a fan of all the riders)and i am a little disapointed in his efforts.
He is getting paid millions to perform and develop this bike, just as every other rider out there is trying to do. I really hope he does well on the yamaha, but mabee he wont! If he does not do well, then what will all you Rossi die hards do?? Mabee he just does not have the confedence that he had 10 years ago.
time will tell.
what ever his performance in the future holds, should not deter him from giving 100% now.
anyway, I am just happy to have watched hime win all those races, it may be a long time till we see some one like him again.

ha.. What a title for the article... I didn't even know Rossi got on it during the race,... joke people..

He should step aside for the rest of the season a let some who actually want race have a go.
Let it be the Wildcard entry bike. the wild card rider would be on a more competitive bike than the CRT machines.
