@rogerio.alves

If you put Lorenzo on the GP12, he will struggle as much as Rossi is struggling right now. Both have similar riding styles, which mean, the both have the 125 and 250cc school.
They both need a strong front end to keep their high speed thru the corners. Dovisioso will suffer in the begining at Ducati and if they don't change the concept, probably, in the end of the 2 years contract, he'll leave as well...

There are some ignorante people here... Most of the haters here talk like if it's your body and you bones getting broken and bruised.
Stoner raced a damaged ankle... Big deal!? Is he the first one to do that? Lorenzo did a couple of 2nd places with BOTH sprain ankles in his rookie year!!!! He couldn't even walk. Rossi got a 3rd in Donington with broken ankle and fingers. Why's Stoner so special? He did nothing different from everyone else in this series. ffs!

There too much people here with too much spare time in their hands. Get a life

It's an unfortunate situation Rossi is. He's on a bike that clearly has a lot of handing issues. Seems Stoner was tossing it down the road more than a few times towards the end. The guy is under a microscope.

Who knows.....maybe crashing into his close friend had more of an affect on him?

I laugh, in a sad kind of way, at the comments posted on here putting him down. None of you posters would last a few weeks trying to live in his shoes.

If you're perceived as alien You can't make the numbers when racing and it's what Rossi does now. If You can't feel the bike You need to either check, find the limits. You won't crash well You'll never know where the limits are. To have no ideas doesn't mean giving it 70%.

@The Morgue..good to see you back.

When will you people realise that last year when Rossi tried he fell off 12 times. After 3 I would have slowed a bit and so would you lot.
This year he stated that he would no longer ride 100% because the bike won't let him. Nicky would probably back him up on that.

Nobody who cares about MotoGP likes this situation, but jumping on Rossi because he doesn't want to suffer broken bones is getting us nowhere.

I agree with a lot of what has been said about Vale.
To add my two pence worth........
Been a Rossi fan for a long, long time but I have to wonder if he still has fight in him, (I really hope so coz without him motogp shall end up like F1), Since breaking his leg, losing his mate, (RIP Simo) and now two seasons with Duc and no wins. I'd love to see him make it 10. Come on Vale give it your all and go out on a win, you're already a legend.......

@ Crash....Do you really think that the current 'Recommended Comment' deserves it? Too many times baiting comments like that achieve the status of being in that spot.

I really can't understand some people here defending Rossi's position about not pushing hard the bike or he might get injured, brake a leg and so. If he afraid such thing, he should get out off Ducati now. Otherwise he should return the tons of money they paid him to push hard, or, a part of it.
He is a professional rider and a well paid one. The MotoGP is a professional sports category of well paid riders. It's not some kind of Have-Fun race among friends!!
Mercy!!!!

This guy is a disgrace, he isnt even trying. I have followed him for years and he shows up have hearted. For instance, in quali, I watched Nicky thrashing the bike and when the bike let go he went flying through the air, thumping to the ground and then lying on the tarmac unconscious. Vale on the same corner grabbed the bike when it bit and rode off...hopeless, wasn't even on the gas. I give up on you man! And I'm sick of the excuses.
