Bautista is a better rider than Bradl. Bradl is getting the full HRC treatment over at LCR while Bautista gets silly at San Carlo.

Keep beating Bradl, and the Ducatis Alvaro.

Bautista has to use the Nissin brakes and Showa suspension that Gresini have adopted this year, probably at HRC's insistence, using them as a test squad. If they gain any clear advantage, the same equipment will be given to the factory team, even if it means breaking a contract mid-season as they did to get Pedrosa on Bridgestones. It's impossible to know whether the unique brakes and suspension present any advantage or disadvantage at the moment, but lacking the wealth of technical data available to all the other teams, who've been using Brembo and Ohlins for years, must make finding a set up considerably more difficult each weekend.

@M1M I believe Bradl is on the Nissin/Ohlins combination, so he's having to suffer a lack of data with regards to setting up to use the Nissin brakes.

@ pcxmac

..and WHY do you consider Bautista a better rider than Bradl? Bradl's rookie year is turning out to be better than Bautista's 2 1/2 years in GP (with a significantly better rookie season as well). I'm just trying to understand what Bautista has done to garner such a statement.
