Are all you "Dovi deserves factroy ride" people new to GP ??
Did you miss when he had factory ride for the biggest team in the sport, riding the championship winning bike and won nothing!!!
Beaten almost comprehensively by his team mates except when they missed races or were recovering from injury.
Did you miss his results are pretty much the same on a sat bike.

Unless the Ducati becomes great over the Winter they claim another Victim, knowing rossi's luck atm it'll probably be the best bike next year lol.

This is a no brainer for Dovi and he is a smart guy. he had an extra year at Repsol, forcing them to run a 3 man team after hiring Casey and was best of the rest. He moved to Yamaha expecting to get a factory seat but without the same clauses in the contract.

You can bet he got every clause he needed in the Ducati contract and put the screws to them because he is their best option having experience at both competitive factories and performing well on both.

He also can't lose, Rossi says himself he failed, the bar could not be set lower. If he can do better, he instantly becomes a great Italian rider for doing what Vale couldn't or wouldn't. If not, he gets a good sat ride or goes to WSBK, a no lose scenario...
