Well it just shows that the move towards CRT makes sense! Only three manufactures at the pinnacle of the sport, it's all about the money, money, money! Dorna realized two years ago that they had to reduce the cost of racing for the survival of series! I think it will sort it's self out and give us full grids and close racing!

Why dont they force all of the manufacturing body's to take part in a special class. Then norton and triumph could also take part. Or just have a class in world Superbikes, so everybody gets a crack. Perhaps there could be a special relay race for Suzuki Bandits with a top box on.

@ tucker

Rossi was slated for the Yamaha seat ever since the beginning of this season (as evidenced by Lorenzo's statement about discussing Rossi's return to Yamaha with management at the start of the 2012 season.....LONG before Spies ever made mention of leaving the team). Spies "knew" that his time was up despite whether or not he openly admits that to the media. He made a pre-emptive strike to save face (as would I).

All this talk of some MotoGP riders heading to WSB, makes me wonder about the bikes themselves. How would the best WSB bikes compare to the CRT bikes, power, handling, track times, etc. I really don't have a clue. I assume the CRT bikes are supposed to be faster but they are getting lapped on some tracks by the prototypes. So how do the WSBs and CRTs compare?

Nick's going Ducati Corse WSBK racing in 2014. Let Checa run test out the Panigale for a season. Let the GP13 be co-developed by Dovi and Nick for Bradly in 2014 and all is good.

How is CRT going to lead to closer racing, I have yet to see any close racing from the CRT riders (but then again no one cares enough, to film then until they get lapped)

So 3 riders for the podium every race for the first half, then maybe one or two more second half? Other riders have wasted their time on ******** bikes for nothing.

Pinnacle my butt. Yes, the best racers (Jorge, Casey, vale, dani) are here, but as to actually racing, beyond two laps its just time trials.

Looking forward to WSBK next year where a tenth can finish 4 seconds behind the leader, instead of 40. Hope Bautista joins Ben, and Cal makes it too. MotoGP has a losing formula.

Next year looks more depressing than this year for GP.

Regarding Nicky only having a one year contract at Ducati: I've read (either Superbike Planet, MotoGP Matters or Speed) that this was at Hayden's request. He didn't want to lock himself into another two years if things aren't going to get any better.
