Obviously He's really excited because he's getting more money because I can't think of any other reason to get excited about joining Ducati, ask Melandri,Rossi and co.

Dovisioso has let his ego get the better of him. Angry at being overlooked in favour of Rossi for the factory yamaha he has decided to give up being the number 1 rider on a good bike to go and be the number 2 rider on a bad bike.

Factory/satellite are just words, the package is the most important thing, just because its a factory bike doesnt mean its better than other teams satellite bikes, and I can see him regretting this decision big time.

Dovi is known as a very precise rider. He Rarely makes a mistake. He is also one of the hardest to pass. I think he will help make next season one of the best ever, even though Stoner won't be there.

He has gone for the money. If anyone knows anything about racing at any level it is that its all about money.
Would you choose to stay on a satellite bike that's decent and get 50,000 euro or so? but have to pay for many of the simple things like travel, taxi and living costs or go on a factory bike ( any factory )and be paid 6 figures and live for nothing.

I know what I would do. Dovi has been a factory rider before and not many have had the chance of a 2nd one

Really hope he does well but the cards are stacked against him,the good thing at the moment is there are a lot of riders wanting a bike to ride so next year another rider and so on.They have had some of the best and it didnt work so Dovi will never win he is too smooth but a nice Audi RS8 will look good in the garage.

I really wish him good luck. The Ducati has potential
and it has a great top speed. The right person could have great thing in store for him if Ducati and Audi get the handling worked out. Its probably a better bike now than when Casey rode for them.
