He could be the one!
The first italian to tame the Ducati. I for one can see a glimmer of hope. Maybe I'm delusional but surely anything will be better than the last two years of posturing and promises.

Ha Ha, wonder if Dovi's face after his first Ducati test ride will be a whiter shade of pale compared to Rossi's after his first Ducati test ride, Ha Ha i'm sure it will be classic.

It's easy to say he's making a mistake going to Ducati, but really he has no other choice. His best chances for getting a factory ride at Yamaha or Honda have come and gone, that will never happen. Unless of course he's able to do well with Ducati and extend his motogp career. He does well in the next few years, he can write his ticket. Does poorly, he's back where he is now and more than likely out of motogp or at least a top factory ride.

he could'a wrote his ticket without doing much of anything. capi was in it 22 years and look at edwards. a rider can have a good life, family, money, etc. just showing up and check collecting. only one person can be the "heavyweight champ", but there's no payday for ANYONE without somebody playing the role of "challenger".

dovi will be smiling on the other side of his face at valencia on the monday ! he was so desperate to get back to a factory he would have signed anywhere. big mistake. wont suit his riding style and i doubt the team will carter to his every request audi or no audi! we may see him qualifying tenth and maybe a 6th place finish freeing up a spot for a more exciting rider at the front ! be good to see the 2 satellite hondas further up the table regular to!
