So now you will have Lorenzo, Rossi, and Pedrosa running away from the pack, without Stoner...still doesn't fix the problem of Motgp racing!!!!!!Factory riders will still dominate until they do something with the rest of the less fortunate teams...........

Lyn whats the use of entering into discussions if Commandant Ezpeleta TELLS you what you HAVE to do,he has already said that Valentino would be on a competitive bike next year. Dorna is practically setting the results. Now that we know that Casey is leaving is will turn into a real Continental Circus, run by CLOWNS with those CHILDISH victory antics after each PERFORMANCE. But I shall not be watching such idiotic crap and that means the staged racing. (If you can actually call staged group rides, racing)I WOULDN'T

very dodgy situation for lorenzo next season, the people behind this sport (if you can still call it that) cant allow rossi to get beat, all those dumb fanatical fans will just turn the tv off,say lorenzo has better equipment and watch world superbikes instead.for the sake of sponsers, viewing figures and dorna they will prop up the old goat to keep the business(sport)running.

@ Snoopy and I remember....fair comments from both of you.
Fan of Rossi or not it is obvious that he, Jerry, and Ducati have failed in there quest for rideability. It interests me that all three parties accept responsibilty.
We'll know when Dovi gets on the bike and if, or when, the promised updates arrive.
Rossi could ride for Harley Davidson, I would still want Ducati to succeed.

assuming Dani wins 2012 WDC, come 2013 Dani will be higly confident. Jlo will have the motivation to be 2013 WDC. Vale already has challenge/motivation by going into Jlos team (i cant believe i wrote that. someone who has done so much for yam is treated as no 2 rider. Personally he could have gone down with ducati rather than this humiliation. failing on a Duc is much better humiliation than selling ones self respect). It doesnt matters what i feel. its good for motogp. i hope MM lets the sparks fly, duc competitive with reduced pressure. Cal, Bautista, Bradl step up. 2013 promises to be interesting season BUT ONLY TIME WILL TELL. i shall wait with fingers crossed hoping for good luck

Envy envy and all just envy. of course having 9 world titles and holding many many records would make people envy you.

1st: Rossi/Burgess did not fail in their mission, but it was Ducati who failed them and that's a fact. It took Rossi/Burgess one whole year to convince Ducati to try different parts. even then it wasn't a quick change and again cost them another half a season to wait for failed ECU and the engine that Ducati never produced. so saying Rossi faild is total rubbish.

2nd: Rossi going back as #2 rider doesn't make any difference!! it's all paperworks that says Lorenzo is #2 rider, as Lin Jarvis said, Lorenzo didn't like it to re-sign Rossi, but we wanted him. That means Yamaha has full confidence in him as a title contender and obviously Lin Jarvis know a lot more than most fools in this forum. Rossi won everything you name is and if wins as #2? the better, then he'll have another record in his book and that will be total glory for him and total humiliation for Lorenzo an

@Owned Don't underestimate Rossi. It's quite true that Casey won 3 races, then was second to Lorenzo at Valencia at the end of 2010, and Rossi got on the same bike and was an awful lot slower. As humiiiating as his Ducati experience has been, it doesn't mean Rossi can't ride. It just means he may not be the magician that a lot of people thought he was - especially some people on here. He's still a highly skilled rider, and his style is more suited to the Yamaha, and perhaps less adaptable.
But no podiums?

I can't see you looking back at your post next year and seeing the same level of prescience that DB8 saw in his post. I'm going to enjoy seeing Rossi and Lorenzo go at it. Maybe with Pedrosa and eventually Marquez in the mix.

@ Sam
"Rossi/Burgess did not fail in their mission, but it was Ducati who failed them and that's a fact."

Rossi/Burgess said Stoner was the problem. They were wrong. No matter how many ways you try to re-write history, they will ALWAYS have been wrong.
