More time for Cal, will be interesting to see how he approaches the rest of this season with a little weight off his shoulders, might see something different.

The right decision and the right team in my view.

Another year on satellite machinery is the best thing for now. This year has been a huge leap forward, and another season with the same team and bike will allow a good base for further improvement.

Handy for Smith too, as some tips and coaching will be no doubt be forthcoming to help bring him on a bit quicker. Herve must be pleased about that.

All the posturing and b#####it has stopped. Now prove it on the track and stop being such a tube when you are interviewed. You never see Rossi, Pedrosa etc, acting like that and nobody has a nickname because they found a mouse in their motor home. Get a grip!!

Great news.

Ducati will be harder to beat next year with less development(I want better bike).Nicky and Dovi will learn to ride round the problems.Nicky was doing rather well in learning how to ride the Ducati until Rossi arrived and took the bike in a million different directions.

Cal's unlucky not to have a factory ride. First Valentino alerted Yamaha to his availability, then Ducati decided they needed an Italian. Still, he's staying in a competitive team he's well-gelled in, so more good results should be on the cards. As for 2014 and beyond, his prospects really depend on what Bradders does against him.
