Great "mature" decision from Cal BUT tech 3 why the f*** Bradley Smith?
You will have Cal pushing to go forward and Brad just doing as his initials suggest BS!

Hardly surprising but it's the best ride he could have got and tbh it's very good strategy. If Rossi finds out that he just doesn't have it anymore then it may not be long before we find Mr. Crutchlow with a factory ride.

There might well be more British riders coming into the MotoGP paddock for next year. PBM are going to run a 2-rider team, and HRC are keen for Jonathan Rea to join the series, (a deal with Gresini is reportedly close). In which case Rea would sub for Stoner at one or two rounds on the factory Honda. Could be interesting...

@ bwahahahah
the contract was signed 2 years ago, theres been no yard stick to measure Brads performance off so we don't know,I myself think he'll beat Cal before the end of the year.

he might beat Cal a couple times during the year, but Smith has a lot to prove before those kinds of estimations can be made, Cal is a very quick rider who is marginally out of touch with a guy whose at least the best of the rest, with out going in to the political stuff and whose really getting the support. Cal also set a good number of lap records in WSBK on a bike that wasnt up to par. I like Smith's style, but still have to wait to see if he can 'adapt' to the bike, and what ever else that entails.
