farl, I think all I said about Smith was that Yamaha were allegedly none too thrilled about the promotion at one stage, and there were even rumours of legal manoeuvres to try and void the contract. But that was back when it looked like Herve would have to dump Dovi or Cal in his place, and that's no longer the situation.

As far as Bradley's potential, here is what Cal himself said in interview today: "He's not going to be a mug. He's going to be fast."

I guess he would know better than most?

"I am delighted to commit my future to the Monster Yamaha Tech 3 Team for at least one more year," said 26-year-old Crutchlow.

Hahahaha Well it's not like you really have much of a choice out there huh Carl? Had Ducati given him the contract he would have bailed already hahahaha

Seems like all the British riders have slipped through the system of getting the MotoGP seats. Carl won a 600cc Championship, Bradley is a midpack rider in Moto 2 and crash-fest Johnny Rea is about to get the chance to join HRC's satellite team. I guess to get in MotoGP you dont have to be a good rider you just have to be Brittish :P - Unregistered

I imagine the whole BS to tec3 deal came about cos BS beat Stoner in some lower catagory when casey first came to the uk many years ago. Put 2 and 2 together in the whacky world of tec3 and you sign the lad. Not BS fault so hope he does ok.
Has anyone stuck some of the lads that beat lewis hamilton in a karting race in an F1 car yet?
