My prediction failed to come true, Rossi didn't win and didn't stop for a refreshing cup of tea. Never mind there is always the next time.Nice exciting race though!

Great race? Great last few laps by two riders anyway. MotoGP has degenerated to the point where it has to be rethought completely, merged with WSB or even wound up entirely. No competitive European manufacturer - ie Ducati, there isn't anyone else. A couple of injuries and the field is down to a competition between two riders. Absurd "CRT" class. Time for big changes. Ask yourself why there are only two Japanese manufacturers left in MotoGP.

Great battle Dani. Congrats. I too wish there were fewer multi week breaks in the season. Have one summer break, maybe three weeks,but rest of season should be every weekend. I don't mind if the season ends in October or September if we can watch a race every week.

I think the Honda and Yamaha look even. At least on with Dani and Jorge on them, making it the most interesting season and one of the closest in recent years in MotoGp.

I think Dani has found the confidence which he lacked in the last few seasons. I think he feels this could be his year. I cannot wait to see the rivalry to resume at the at San Marino circuit. Three weeks is just too long to wait lol.

@oldie

What other Japanese manufacturers do you think should be there? Suzuki and Kawasaki are pretty small companies, and it's harder for them to justify the money outlay than Yamaha or Honda.

Rumor is Spies had clutch problems on the 1st lap and then a clutch failure going into the corner when he crashed. Rear wheel locked up on the corner entry.

It can be less exciting because there is not to much manufactors invold with the Genius of Honda and Yamaha..!! Motogp allways was the place for the best and build the best bike requieres a lot of Brain not only one good cosmetic image..!! Japan allways learn the best ways of Building competitive bikes, They loss on the initial years when European manufactors control the Sport on the 4 strokes, then they come with the 2 Stroke engine and just slap European bikes, all grid become a 2 stroke formula for Long time, Then to call European manufactors again come the 4 strokes and at this stage allready Japan have learn and growup a lot, Best Japan Manufactors slap Ducati and Win like it is normal.. at this stage we have 4 stroke bikes and again the best bikes are provide or for Honda or Yamaha.. I just call this genius, Like they build one samurai sword him the past they build bikes today... Pure soul on this bikes.. Here there is no help only the best survive if the others stop on time! If

The reason that the racing isn't as ection packed as WSB is because the riders are better and don't make as many mistakes, so it is less difficult to get past or make up time. If you want more consistently exciting racing, watch WSB, if you want the best riders, watch GP. Personally I will happily watch both...

if no one can mach this 2 manufactors will be normal to wach the full grid with only this 2 bikes.. like if it was 2 strokes.. we can have 20 riders but they can only choose or between one Honda or Yamaha.. Its like saying Honda and Yamaha Conquer Motogp.. At least we will wach more fights but it will be less exciting.. is allways more interesting with more manufactors fightighing but if they dont learn how to build bikes.. there is no teachers here..lolo
