Japan only whants pure competicion to prove they are the best.. To achieve that Motogp is the only way its the pure formula only the best win.. Honda was one of the 1 manufactors to whant 4 strokes bikes again they whant European competicion thats the only way of show how good they are.. I guess we can only say that they are realy good on that!! No Fear they are the best.. Only when Dorna change completly the rules they are alow other manufactrs to get close because it like star from 0.. but its need lucky to find that moments like it was him 2007 when Ducati just surprised Japan

Just a thought for all you guys out there, what if Lorenzo blows the championship, and Dani ends up winning? No bias, but this will only cement Rossi's legendary career as the only rider besides Doohan to win back to back championships. I would like to hear your opinions on this.

@ The Mentor, well it won't make a difference seeing as Casey Stoner is the current defending champion so even if Lorenzo were to win the title this year, he still would not have ever won the title back-to-back years.

Nobody beats Rossi on the same bike.
At least not in a year or two :)

Now Rossi is the number one ducati by a wide margin, finishing half a minute in front of Karel.

Lorenzo will eat the humble pie next year.

Well, Kawasaki and Suzuki were there for quite a while. And they are both performing more than respectably in other classes - notably WSB. Clearly the costs of MotoGP are too high to be justifiable (particularly when you are trailing around far behind the leaders).
The best outcome, IMHO, would be a merger of MotoGP with WSB and a relaxation of the rules allowing a greater degree of modification than that currently permitted in WSB. Ie a hybrid of prototype and production - along the lines that are being tried with CRT - inappropriately in the MotoGP context.
