MotoGP » Lorenzo: Dani and I tried everything to win

“This time Dani was cleverer than me and braver so congratulations to him, next time maybe it will be different!” - Jorge Lorenzo.

Was good to see Dani keep his head, thought Lorenzo's pass may have just been enough to unsettle him, but he kept composure and the win was his to be had. Well done both, shame Stoner wasnt in the mix too.
Cal did a great job, and Bradle is definately a future champion.

@The truth hurts.

Rossi alone produces this kinds of racing many more than one occasion per season. Rossi produces start-from-bottom-of-the-grid-and-win-the-race kind of race. Try harder mate, try harder. maybe with a Foster in hand.

First of al it was a proof to my words that Jorge lorenzo is good aslong as his bike is good. Dani pedrosa could easily beat Lorenzo if he only had a better braking ability. Lorenzo lost it when he ran wide, otherwise there was no chance for Pedrosa to win it. Now I can safely say that Rossi will give Lorenzo hell for the next two seasons. Good Dani, keep up the good work.

tbh this just shows how much of a racer lorenzo is, not pedro. lorenzo overtook on such a random/hard corner, and had a go on the last corner like a true racer.

i cannt wait for 2013 when he races rossi

@SAM

What a crap you said. Who's Rossi opponent those years? Aliens? MUAHAHAHAHA
Since 2007 Rossi always try qualify front row, because rivals are develop a runaway tactic!

That move from Jorge is not a mistake, it's a must otherwise when he had another chance? he must take different line and take the risk.

Only yellow brigade can disrespect other riders achievement, like how you slagging Stoner off.

Learn more kid, learn more!

With Stoner out it is the worst situation for Lorenzo and Yamaha. If Stoner were still in, the points would be shared between the two Hondas.

Now Honda will concentrate it's full effort and resources towards Pedrosa. If Pedrosa can stay upright, he has a really good chance of winning.

Good luck to Lorenzo and Pedrosa.

Never say never

@ WylieCoyote
Your a class act. 4 posts in and already taking an opportunity to slag off at Rossi.
Poor individual.

Congratulations to the podiums finishers, and special mention to the pass Jorge did on Pedro. Millimeter perfect and precise, good stuff.

Dani won easily because the honda can outpower the yamaha with ease on an uphill like the one at this track. On a track where there isn't a huge elevation to the finish line Lorenzo will leave him in the dust.

Props to Dani for using the rcv's outright power to his advantage.

You are contradicting yourself. Lorenzo's braking is his not the bike's. Pedrosa's brakes aren't junk.
Dani had the best bike for ages. Stoner won on it first time out. Dani has been forced to grow a pair since Stoner has shown what the bike can do.

Awesome last lap. Well done Dani. Darryl Beattie highlighted that given that the Tech3s both ran out of petrol that maybe the drive up the hill to win on second last bend was a case of the Yam leaning out to complete race distance. I doubt it. Either way Dani stuck in there and that is now two head to head wins against Stoner and now Jorge. Hope he wins the WC and yes I agree I think maybe the shoe might be on the other foot as far as the No2 rider upstaging the leader in the Yamaha factory team. Sad not to see Stoner there complaining.
