I wish people would stop hounding redding and smith Herve would not have signed smith if he didn't believe he was good enough that bike has been well publicised for being rubbish and has not been developed over the last two years unlike the ever changing kalex and suter's people forget the lad has scored 23 podiums people rave about espagaro (alix) but what did he ever achieve in the lower classes 125cc nothing, 250cc nothing and moto2 1 podium and yet he is a brilliant rider as for Scott he will never achieve anything in moto2 he is to big and that wears his tyres out to quick plus he is loosing speed on the lighter riders either of them staying in moto2 would be a waste of another year and spies just hasn't been good enough on the weekends when the bike has worked, Bautista off to world sbk for you sunshine

Spies on a Gresini Honda would be very interesting indeed. That package and team setup may be just what he needs. I'm surprised that no one has considered Depuniet. In terms of raw speed he's up there with the fastest. He does crash a bit too much but as they say "you can't make a slow rider fast but you can make a fast rider consistent" (or something like that). It's a pity he's never had a competitive factory bike to show what he can do.

I would love to see Spies on the Gresini Honda. Spies is very fast but has been inconsistant to say the least this year, most of it not his fault. Imagine the motivation he would have to win riding a Honda against the Blue Yamaha's of Lorenzo and Rossi. Game on. Spies to Honda, make it so . . .

Spies uses a point and shoot style(SBK) I think the Honda would suit him perfectly.
Hope he trys at least another year in MoToGP if its possible,He can always go back to SBK and be competitive.

Spies takes wide lines and makes late apexes... exactly what he doesn't need for a Honda. With the Honda you have to brake hard at the apex and turn the bike from there - you can't ride with understeer because it just won't work and Ben has already crashed too many times on a Yamaha as a result of this

@rocket r1 I believe that was stated on here in the comments section don't believe everything you read and besides that I mean he would not have been signed in the first place he clearly thinks he has the talent and talent is not something you just loose because if that is possible then I'm confused as to why nobody has said on previous topics that Rossi has lost it or spies for example there all talented just riding crap bikes except for spies who just seems to be having terrible luck with his bike over the last couple of races
