I will reserve my comment about Rea when the esting is done. If CRT bike is lapping faster than him at the end of testing. Then i don't see him in motogp.

EXACTLY! Keyboard heroes to the MAX!
Not one guy here has a clue what it takes to ride This-Kind-of-Fast...

Whoever disagreed with my post is *****ic. I guess you think they plug him in and upload a program that teaches him all the finer points of MotoGP bikes in the blink of an eye AND THEN.... 'I know Kung-Fu....'?

Tae Ka

These CRT guys have been riding their bikes all year, have just come off a full race weekend AT THIS CIRCUIT!!! Seriously...

Some of the comments here about Rea are ridiculous.

He's only just got on the bike. New tires take time to understand unless you want to throw the bike at the scenery.

Keyboard heroes on crash type again. Ho hum.

As Dr. Johnson said, you don't need to be a carpenter to criticise a wobbly table. If limited to those who hold/have held, international licences, (or just national/club level), the comments section would be threadbare. It's possible to make rational appraisals of performance based on comparisons, but without access to inside knowledge, people should be much more circumspect and less judgmental. Even when a rider is seriously injured or killed, some crass trolls post insensitive and insulting comments and any temporary increase of respect is short lived, quickly returning to opinionated assertions that "rider X is crap," "Y owns Z" and slanging matches between 'fans'.

@M1M,
The comments section may well be threadbare...but at least the comments that were posted would be intelligent and well thought out. I'd much prefer that to the inane and idiotic posts I see here 99.9% of the time. BTW, WTH is slanging?

A slanging match is "an angry argument in which people insult each other," or "a heated exchange of views." It's a pity you don't have access to some form of technology which would allow you to look it up yourself. If only there were some kind of 'world wide web' which would give ordinary people everywhere access to such information. It might, ('may' is incorrect in the 2nd conditional), also result in fewer ill-informed and badly written comments. Of course the drawback would be that, like a spellchecker, people would still have to make the minimal effort required to use it, just as with cross-referencing different sources such as gpone and motomatters to get a better perspective, instead of simply jumping to a conclusion and expressing it as fact.

@ Disbelief!

The number of racers who post here are few and far between. I know how happy I've been after shaving just a half-second of full second off of a lap (after trying various lines, brake points, etc. all day). Unless a person rides ON THE TRACK, they cannot fathom what it takes.

@ Nick636

Indeed!
