These times probably don't mean all that much but Spies in 7th suggests he's going to finish out the year and then get competitive next year hopefully on the Gresini Honda.

good to see Loris and Rea on the list. Hopefully Rea keeps struggling to come to grasp with the complexity of the bikes and the good lines for the races he gets asked to do. Not a bad time from Dovi considering hes having to 'learn/adapt' the bike to different cornering strategies.

That comment posted by noobs made my eyes bleed..... I didn't realise there were people that stupid who could operate a keyboard....

Good on Cal though, I think Ducati have done him a favour by taking Dovi as the bike and team are such a good package and have been for years!

Hey Mr. Rea, please stay where you are if you can only beat Mike di Meglio and Julian Simon with BQR bike... Those two are also first timers in the class and there is some differences between your bikes...

@ Reese

Livio Suppo explains why on gpone.com. Basically, it was felt that it would have put too much pressure on Bradl to perform, and would have been disruptive to his team to move him.

personally I rate Rea much more than Bradl who has been riding solo w/ strong backing for a while. Given this is (i believe) Rea's first time on a prototype bike its kind of hard to expect him to be that close to the front half given he had no idea what to expect in terms of handling, configuration, sophistication, tires, the team, engineering effort and the tires. Just needs to understand the right lines, and how to adapt to the situation, hopefully he can manage to find the pace to stick with the satellite Hondas and then beat them by his last race. Asking any rider to step in to such a foreign situation and expect them to have a shot at the podium or beating Tech3 given the way the tires were designed this year is asking too much imo.
