Go Cal.i know its only testing but its all looking good for next year.well deserved contract for next year and lets all us brits get behind Cal and Bradley.

I notice both the guys who are switching teams next year - Dovi & Spies - packed up at lunchtime and didn't bother going out this afternoon. I suspect Spies was just fulfilling a contractual obligation in testing here at all.

I don't think there is some new parts for spies to test. I think spies went out there to check the bike for next race. While Lorenzo is testing the 2013 bike.

Any news on Cal's contract? He mentioned he wasn't happy riding round for next to nothing?

I have a funny feeling the gap will grow to the satellite bikes next year and Yam will be concentrating on VR and JL

Do you think the Rea thing was just a thank you from Honda for winning the 8 hour?

Exactly, there Repsol team is locked in for 2 years, but they will want to see his potential for standing in should Dani or Marquez become injured.

I think Cal's bike for next year will be closer to factory spec. That assurance of competitive equipment for him (from Masahiko Nakajima himself) is what ultimately persuaded him to stay with Tech 3.
