A similar mistake to the one Lorenzo made in the last corner of the Montmelo 2010 race, which allowed Rossi to pass and win the race. He really needs to learn from these situations because they can end up costing him the title. Still, I think in this case Pedrosa's acceleration would have allowed him to overtake no matter what, but maybe the last chicane would have played out differently if Pedrosa had to approach it more on the limit. We'll never know.

Some refreshingly candid and honest self-appraising there from Jorge. Just as a bit of fun, it's quite interesting and informative to juxtapose the average post race comments and analysis made by Jorge, Dani, Vale and Ben with those often made by Casey.

jorge style is always maintaining high corner speed whatever the line is, inside or outside... the mistake he made is giving room for dani at the end of uphill where dani came to the inside line... if it was rossi, he will never give a room doesnt care whether he got corner speed or not... just attack and defense thats the strongest point of rossi...

@django

Jorge isn't moaning, he's giving his analysis of why Dani was able to win. I'm not a Jorge fan typically, but I can't say a bad word about him. He's fair in his analysis and gives credit to rides where it is due. I hope he picks up his 2nd title this year.

I agree 100%.. 4sure he dont like to loss!! But he has been a MAN.. talcking the real stuff and been honest!! Jorge dont whant any problem he just whant to ride.. Is damm good no doubt!! I like is way of beeing politic and honest at the same time.. is allways showing respect for the rival and at the same time is good to keep a good relation with Pedrosa.. They never whanted to hate each other and thats preety clear right now.. They are 2 of the greatest riders from Spain..

No worries, Jorge. It is true that Dani came first but both of you tried your maximum and only one could win it, so kudos to both of you for giving us a great fight.

Jorge, you did nothing wrong. No shame on it. Dani only did it better. He proved that he can still improve even after so many years.
