I'm one of the sceptics as to why he deserves a moto gp ride too but somebody made a good point the other day that Stoner was much the same, and look how well he turned out! Somebody sees something special in him, so I hope it works out.

@DB8

Nice commente.!! Also Smith is until now the only British rider to run him all classes of Motogp.. Like yoy say i dont bealievet that one Team like Tech 3 would make a contract with one rider just to have problems, 4sure Smith must have the potencial and maybe he will be better with the Style of Motogp.. Will be funny to wach the reaction of one rider that make all Classes him Motogp compared to the job that Cal have to make to learn the motogp bike.. Lets see if Smith can crash less and star playing like Bradl for exemple..

Ps: i mean Cal him 2011 is 1 year of learning..

Emm.... no! Stoner won 5 times, podiumed 10 and finished 2nd overall the year before moving up to MotoGP.

Wouldn't say they are trolls, well, maybe. But just look at Bradley's numbers. I like the guy, he was better in 125 ... but, there are plenty of other riders who've performed better than him in Moto2. Espargaro for example. I think after the first year, they'll be looking to replace him (Bradley). Hope I'm wrong.

I'm a skeptic myself but I'm more than happy to have him prove me wrong. Motogp needs new talent and I'd rather see him there than Bautista, Barbera, and Abraham who have all overstayed their welcome in motogp.
