There are many comments here from our team of experts that the Tech3 frame is lacking development and hinders the bike/rider whereas the Suter and Kalex frames are way ahead.
Our experts inform us that other teams have dumped their ropey old frames (e.g, moriwaki) in favour of Stuer or Kalex and are reaping the rewards.
So the question is, why would any smart team principal keep plodding away with a sub-standard frame for 2 years while your opponents are getting further ahead having changed frames?

@ mrfill

Tech3 build their own chassis. I suspect they want to keep it that way for whatever reason (building chassis experience, pride, etc.)

There're only 2 Tech3 chassis on the grid, and the second one piloted by Xavier Simeon is currently 18th in the points.

It makes Bradley look better by comparison anyway.

I guess we'll all find out next year.

it does seem at a glance, that brad aint done much or enough to get a gp ride.fair point. but i would laugh my ar5e off nxt year if he was going better in gps than marquez,cos there is no real reason to believe that marquez is gonna take well, to a thousand cc gp bike,smith might not be that far away from the tiny ,talented spanish lightweight nxt year

Many commentators say he simply still has his ride due to the contract and the potential to sue if the team cancel it.

Many believe his form doesn't reflect moving to MotoGp

But they are only ex-wc and GP winners, what would they know

Lots of people trolling on Brad as usual (as I said before, he seems to be the new Stoner as the rider the Trolls love to hate). All the statements saying he'll bomb - well you have a 50/50 chance of being right so its easy to be confident from your chair playing 'heads or tails' eh? How many would be man enough to come back and apologise to him and state they were wrong if Brad does a good job? No Trolls for sure.

Have any of the nay-sayers actually taken a good look at any footage in Moto2 races and clocked just how hard Smith is riding? And noted just how determined he is from flag to flag every single lap & corner to move forward? I have no more idea than anyone if he can make the grade in MotoGP, but its a fair bet that no-one will put it on the line more, or try harder than Bradley Smith will. Why not give the guy a break & wait till he's actually racing the thing before writing him off?

@Talentfan
THIS GUY IS NO CASEY STONER,NOT EVEN CLOSE, NOT EVEN A SHADOW OF STONER IN ABILITY!
HE'S JUST ANOTHER DEAD HEAD RIDER WITH THE RIGHT PASSPORT AT THE RIGHT PLACE AT THE RIGHT TIME.

ANOTHER REASON WHY MOTOGP IS GOING DOWNHILL

Bradders deserves his chance to all those who are doing him down the tech 3 moto 2 bike is poor in comparison to what Marquez etc are riding and I think he does a great job on it.
