For all those slagging him off:

3 career GP wins
23 career GP podiums

2nd 125 championship 2009, 4th 2010.

7th 2011 Moto 2 championship

Not saying that this qualifies him to get a premier class ride, but maybe he isn't quite the loser that some of the posters on here are trying to make out.

The fact is Poncheral has signed him and it will make no difference how much some of you bleat on , he has the ride whether you like it or not.

Who's gonna be riding the tech3 CRT bike this year?
Who's gonna be replacing Brad on the Moto2?

Will Herve continue in moto2 next year,All seems a bit quiet on rider placement for both catagories.

Any way i think Brads battled realy well on the super slow bike that he's had.

I am one of the many who feel that this venture is a bad move, but like someone on page 1 posted.......I'm happy to be proven wrong. If he takes to the premier class like the world champion Bradl did, I'll be the first to give him a round of applause. Unfortunately I'm a skeptic at this juncture in time.

I agree with the others that BS noted that indicated that other Moto2 riders deserved the Tech 3 instead of him. He seems like a nice lad and good motorbike rider but others in that class are a bit better. Tech 3 working on pandering to English viewing public. Nevertheless, wish him luck on it.

i seem to remember an outgoing colin edwards praising bradleys abillities and comenting how he thinks he has what it takes strongly recomending herve gave him a chance. does anyone know if brad has tested a tec 3 moto gp bike ! its not beyond the realms of possability hes tryed one when colin was on them ! just a thought.

He is by no stretch of the imagination a loser, and anyone who thinks so needs to have their head examined.

Got to say I put more weight on Herve Poncheral's opinion than some that of some random people on the internet..

It's a good bike so expectations will be high.

I think he'll do well.

"He can't compete with the people in Moto 2" @CRT

I think this needs a bit of qualification. In reality he can't compete with the top half dozen or so.

Is that down to the bike he's on?

There were 31 starters at Brno, he finished 8th, I make that 23 who couldn't compete with him.

So here's what I really know about this. Bradley Smith is a very fast motorcycle rider. He's young but very professional and dedicated in his approach to racing. Any disagreements so far? Good. Everything else in these comments are the uninformed opinions of a bunch of people (me included) who have absolutely no clue what it takes to ride a motorcycle in a GP race. Feel free to have an opinion as long as I'm free to call you the BullS41773r that you undoubtedly are. Good luck Bradley and I hope you do yourself proud.
