ben you make me laugh how can you be optimistic when bradl is in front of you on a non factory bike.excuses excuses excuses all the time.i would not like to be a fan of you i think throught every practis qf or the race this year you have come off the bike and must of cost yamaha loads and a nother thing i like to say i dont know if its me but every time i watch ben he looks to rigid on that bike and not smooth escespilly when hes brakeing hard as well.

It has been obvious to me that Ben was never as comfortable/happy at the factory Yamaha team as he was at Tech 3.For whatever reason or set of circumstances he has never seemed as content as he had been in spite of winning a race and very nearly another in most impressing form.Wherever he goes next I hope that he receives a full werkes machine be it HRC or Ducati.I like the idea of at least three full werkes Ducati with the common goal of winning or at least competing well with whatever setup works best for each and all of the riders.Best of luck to them all,and may everyone return home fully fit and well.GF

It seems to me that Yamaha MotoGP is an absolutely toxic environment. How does a team rocket to the top after being in Honda's shadow for 20 years and then let Valentino walk under bad circumstances and then lose Spies also under bad circumstances, all in the span of two years.

There's a photo of Rossi wrapping his arms around Furusawa in a bear hug and carrying him, both with big smiles and laughing.

I've never seen anybody smile or laugh in the Yamaha box for a couple years now.

I can't help but think there's some management at Yamaha that needs to be shown the door.

I have a feeling that once we hear Bens Story about what went wrong between Himself and Yamaha that Wilcos name will be front and Center..Wilco is a huge supporter of Cal and im sure he would have loved to see him ride for Factory Yamaha.
If Spies will ever tell what really happened that is the question.

Bradl had a factory RCV for this test and will have one during 2013.

Not sure why you think Zeelenberg would have anything to do with Ben's bad experience at Yamaha. Wilco is JL's team manager and has nothing to do with Spies' side of the garage, which is managed by Massimo Meregalli. Why would you think Zeelenberg would have some responsibility for a crew effort he doesn't manage?

Make me suspect that Engine that blew under Lorenzo was swapped into Spies' bike so Lorenzo could have a good spare engine. It's all speculation of course :)

Spies becomes too predictable this season. Bad start, food poisoning, overwhelming when leading and crashes.

It a shame a good rider like him let all of the above repeated so many times and hold him up from the next level.
