re: "Only six engines are allowed for the season and Lorenzo lost a nearly new engine when he was taken out by Alvaro Bautista at Assen."

see dorna, if you gave him an engine "porkay lorentho" would've left the garages. he would've been out on the main straight entertaining ticket holders like gary rothwell, but no. :)

DORNA its a shame that it has to be like this.
not going out for extra engine-life.
all riders should have been up there, not sitting around because of RULES!!!!!

Most entertaining thing I saw today was Jorge cornered by Ago, then eventually Phil Read as well.....his expression said that he really wanted to escape but he was too polite to make his excuses and go...every time the camera went back into the garage Ago had followed him to another location and the rest of the team were nowhere to be seen....never seen Ago so animated & vocal and once Read turned up they had him in a pincer movement...given half a chance I think he would have taken the bike out just to escape.....

I doubt he felt cornered at all, more likely he felt priviledged. Also, he probably was struggling a bit to understand them.

Regarding whether the riders should have gone out or not: of course not, track conditions were too dangerous, there was nothing to gain an a lot to lose. Too bad for those who paid to be there watching, but the teams would also have prefered sunshine --or full wet-- and track action. It is what it is.

I would be really pissed off if i were a paying paitron at todays event.
A lot of people only get one chance to see these riders and bikes, and im sure that there would have been plenty of people there today on a vacation trying to squeze a day of moto racing in.
Dorna is absolutly ruining this series.
Im sure im not the only one with this veiw

Lorenzo spent much of the afternoon session chatting in the pits with 15 time world champion winner Giacomo Agostini.

Shhhsh don't tell Flossie or he will get upset, why you not talk to me Jorge, I the GOAT not him.
