Hey! I see a lot of nonsense... Jorge received the title on o silver plate, rossi was lucky. Remember Assen or the fact that rossi is a 9 times world champion. This year lorenzo deserves the title big time, fair and square... So far, at least

Lorenzo was able to control the gap - easily, and this probably flattered the others a bit. He just seems destined to win this championship since the opening race of the year. Others have had great results but he has been smooth, consistent, understated in his control of the season. And it is not just the bike. The Satellite Yamaha riders, and Spies are riding hard just to compete. I think Rossi is sincere when he questions how he will stack up against Jorge next year. I suspect quite well, but there can be little doubt that Jorge will soon belong in the category of the "all time greats" if he isn't there already.

@ differentLeveL

I am rigt when I say mr quitter fans don't watch the sport.

Rossi's team mate destroyed him eh?? yeah right... like catalunya 2009??? or Motegi and Sepang 2010 when he raced with broken bones ???

Quitter deserves more respect??? For what??? for moaning, bad mouthing?? or for punching other riders??? or maybe for his 8 premier class titles??? lol lol lol.

Try harder mate, try harder, then maybe you can find something.

@Jesse James

I'm not British! I learned British English in school and spent 1 year in the UK, so...

... and terms like chap, lad or mate aren't juvenile. Maybe a little bit cheesy, but definitely not childish. Starting arguments with mentioning historical events certainly is juvenile and just plain stupid.

Good point about the "7th fastest lap/9th fastest bike" statistics. It just illustrates how well Rossi managed his tires and why he works on a consistent race pace so much. It also emphasizes that with a higher qualifying position AND a good race pace (along with the perceived benefit of the new changes), he may be able to fight for podiums for the rest of the season. It was really, really nice to see him hold 2nd the entire race. That was a very impressive dry run without the "Hayden fade".
