I wouldn't blame the organisers for playing it safe. Even if it's not covered by the regulation, I believe that if a rider has a problem on the grid right before the start, when the red lights are on and he raises his arms the race should be stopped to avoid accidents. The fact that between the cancelled start and the restart it has chaos, well now, for that I think the organisers should give some explanations and if they did not followed the right procedure should be fined. Arguing that it was done to favour a podium finish for Rossi is just stupid because any rider out there could have had a mechanical problem after the restart or between the two starts. I'm sure they went for safety as they did in Moto 2 race with the red flag after Gino Rea's engine blow.

I agree Marikson, race direction did the right thing by halting the start procedure.

Why the teams started jumping the fence is beyond me? It's like Abraham's team jumped in to get his bike started even though he was being attended to by marshals and before you know it every team was out there putting on the tyre warmers while the riders were pulling their helmets off and walking away.

At the very least, the riders should have been waved through for another sighting lap straight away with Abraham being started by his crew than forced to start from the back of the grid.

You're not only good enough to be a MotoGP champion, but also good enough to be the champion of our hearts.

You must be kidding. And very touching to...

Such loyalty and words from the heart is very scary. There is a positive about the internet. Not seeing other posters face to face.

I dont feel sorry for a guy who has had a sucessful career in bikes and cirtainly not sorry for Repsol. Get caught in the back markers and things tend to happen. At least we got to see some thrills and spills for once.

@ Acme "Very humble enuff of you Pedrosa. It seems he can easily destroy the competition and even Lorenzo?!. Anyway, you get Karma'ed! LOL"

Well even Lorenzo reckons Dani would have catch him because he was struggling to keep a good pace. Go check MCN, it's all there.

Could he be able to actually pass Lorenzo? We'll never know. But either way, had he not got taken out this would be praised as one of the greatest rides in history of mgp. We got robed of a great show.

@ True Champ 2012

he took this one better than he took it when Simoncelli took him out last year. he was not so nice to Simoncelli. Don't try to make Lorenzo look bad because he felt strongly about something.
