Well it should of felt like a failure only finishing fifth on a bike capable of winning.
I would like to see Spies do well but his year has been subpar even if it hasn't always been his fault. Hopefully he can have a better year next year.

The way he was charging in the latter part of the race, I thought he was going to podium.. But maybe he thought "Okay, it better to finish than to bin by being over the limit." Good thinking though considering the past few months. Hopefully he can build up on this result..

Jeeze with two expert riders like Mike Vasoline and Danny Powell available somebody should let Gresini know before he signs Batista or J.Rea for next year.......or are you the same person?

It was an awful result! His team mate coasted to victory whereas Ben could only manage a fifth.

Like someone else said, if Crutchlow, Pedrosa and Spies would have started/finished he'd have been 8th. On a bike that's leading the championship.

I think we're well aware that Spies will say almost anything and quite a lot of it doesn't make sense. This, however, is a beaut.

He was on a factory bike and was roundly beaten by two satellite bikes and that feels like a podium?

Right you are Ben.
