Having riders that are not Italian or Spanish is good for Motogp. Having a top dog from downunder, is a rare thing to see in MotoGP. It's going take a while before we see another Stoner from Australia.

Arthur Sissis is a contender, but is having a disappointing Moto3 season. Still to early to call on that one

I watched that interview on the weekend, he had that look in his eyes, he is going to V8 Supercars no doubt, maybe not next year but definitely in 2014, Mercedes have just announced that they will have 3 cars in the series next year as well, he ain't coming back any time soon.

Casey was stating earlier that he'd be taking a step back for a while to spend some time with his daughter and wife. Now he's talking up V8 supercars as if it's something he'll be doing pretty soon.
The difference is between the two classes are like chalk and cheese. MotoGP is world class, the other is small world Aussie manufactured racing. By that I mean.....If one manufacturer (Holden or Ford) starts to gain such an advantage that the other has no hope, the rules/regulations are changed to even up the competition.
And Casey doesn't like the politics of racing.....sheeeshhhhhh!
