'I think it's going to be tough to make it six in a row, but we'll definitely be there, even if they have to duct-tape me to the bike' - Casey Stoner

MotoGP is an 18, perhaps 19 race series happening mostly on the other side of the planet from Stoner's home, V8 Supercars is a 15 race series that takes place no more than a two-hour flight from his home and yet people say he would have as much time for his family in either one. Brilliant.

Nevermind Tanner and Co. Next time that bunch ride a moped it will prolly be their first time to eat gravel.
Back to topic. I hope Stoner makes it to Motegi reasonably fit. The last 4 rounds need him back all the way to the end of the 2012 championship,if only to inflame GP media in general
He will retire from MotoGP post Valencia and thats it.
Bow hunting,fishing,V8's I don't care. Good luck and all the best #27. I do believe he will make the Motegi grid for HRC. His integrity has never been in question. If there's a way,he will find the will.

@motoGp What a sad little individual you are. Whether you like it or not Motogp was a better spectacle with Stoner on the grid. If you didn't like what he had to say then why the hell did you watch / read his press conferences? Before anybody asks I am not a Stoner fan, but then again I ,m not a Rossi fan either I watch because I enjoy the racing and have done for many years all the way back to going to the Old Transatlantic races at my local, Oulton Park.

I do hope that Lc Tanner is not English, he's giving us a bad name spouting bo****ks.

For a start Stoner never said he was not going V8 racing. He stated there is no way he will race the series in 2013. So lets stick to the facts. He loves the competition of racing and V8 Supercars are as competitive as you can get. Wayne Gardner and Greg Hansford made the transition so there this no reason why Stoner couldn't. As for politics, there is a miniscule amount in V8s compared to MotoGP. You get a drive according to your skill level, not your bank balance or nationality. Rule changes are announced many months, if not years, ahead of implementation. More people attended last weekends race than have attended the MotoGP at PI for the last six years!

Casey's just heading down a well worn path with the likes of Graham Crosby and Gregg Hansford having been there before him. There can be no doubt that Stoner has the balls and talent to follow 'Croz' and 'Harry'. In a guest practice with a front running team he was pretty close to the pace. All the Best Casey Stoner, just don't end up like Gregg.

Your comment about australians shows really well your level, and how big a Rossi cult follower you are.

You can't wait next year? Well you should, you will be a busy man, spewing garbage about Lorenzo, Dani, Marquez, Iannone, etc etc...

Iannone the first time he sat on the Ducati was as fast as Rossi. I will remember your as well as i do about that fact, whenever i facny.
