... in a 'top flight' series are gay.

so now, we have the same (shitty) tires for everyone and the same electronics system all to 'save money'. alright then, halving the revs ought to save money so, let's do that while we're on a roll. might as well go with a spec chain. how about spec brakes (even the pads). that'll 'save money' too, right? wind tunnel time costs loads so, we ought to go with a spec body panel mfr. think of the 'savings'. what the heck do we need fancy forks for anyway? why not just get Showa to supply proddy Fireblade bits. loads of 'savings' there, too.

Just a small step from making them "available" to all teams to making them "compulsory" for all teams...?
If that ever happens MotoGP will probably collapse and WSB will become the new blue riband series.

Is it true that the manufactures can only run a maximum of 4 bikes on the grid? If it is then this seems like a mad rule? Manufactures should be able to field as many bikes as they like and indipendant teams should also be able to lease factory engines. Dump this whole CRT nonsense. Good news about Magneti Marelli deal though.

Why is this neccessary, the teams already have the capacity to deal with Magnetti Marelli direct if they choose to......this is just another step toward standardizing the class and dumbing down the prototypes to a point of non-existence. Next step will be for this electronics package to become the 'spec' package, thus denying the manufacturers that want the freedom to run & develop their own electronics that choice

There is always another agenda with this guy, wouldn't trust him as far as I could kick him.....
