Rossi had a lot of luck in his career. The fact that he hadn't missed a race until Mugello 2010 speaks volumes about how lucky he has been with injuries and how relatively poor his competition is. When one rider dominates, it's usually a sign of an uncompetitive field.

I think the bigger question is whether anyone will beat Agostini's record. I hope not, because poor competition would be required.

ALL I CAN SAY IS: SEPERATED IS A LITTLE RIGHT HERE. THE FACT THAT WHEN STONER WON THE WORLDTITLE, NO COMPETITION AT ALL, JUST WHEN ALL THINGS CHANGE HE COULD WIN WERE OTHERS HAD TO DEVELOP AND ADAPT. THE OTHER YEARS HE WAS NOWERE. BUT IVE SEEN RACES FROM ROSSI IN THE PAST AND I CAN TELL YOU 1 THING! IT WASN'T EASY! IF STONER WOULD RACE THEN HE WOULD ONLY CRY ABOUT THE CLOSE RACING BACK THEN.
AND NOT BEING INJURED ONLY SHOWS GREAT GREAT TALENT, WERE OTHER RIDERS(STONER) REALY CRASH ALOT! WE SHOULD CALL HIM CASEY DE PUNIET.
AND IM GLAD YOU CAN WATCH ROSSI

Well done Jorge'. No mean feat in this era. of MotoGP. He has won GP's against tough competition in a field that has 4 MotoGP Champs currently racing, with a team that built a wall so as not to share any data, a team 'mate' who never wanted him and even tried to run him off the track. Here's to your next win !

@ adolf33....

That's like chosing between a chess player and a gunslinger....I know which I'd rather have!

Rainey's bike in that photo looks the dogs, man I miss the 2 strokes, especially the 500's...

What I would like to see is Jorge ride that bike of Raineys, not just a pootle around but a full on attack just to see how close he is to Raineys lap times.

Rossi's wins have so many asterisks that they don't fit in one crash.net page.

Have the cojones to ask me which are they and we'll sit around a few cases of beer and spend the whole afternoon lecturing you about facts.
