'We had a problem with the gearbox on the bike we were using, and I lost a bit of time in the garage' - Valentino Rossi

@ Realist. Sure it ends. Around about Club 30+. Ask Loris Capirossi. One offs and exceptions granted.
Loris was winning races on the D16 though on a shoestring budget while the project was in its infancy. There is no way Rossi can catch up to Capirex' exploits within Ducati rank and file and I'm pleased. The quitter that is Rossi may win all five of the remaining rounds and he will go down as the 3rd best Ducati GP rider they ever had. Highly unlikely though. Bayliss won one.

Yeah...Champ, I was expecting a big start being it wet and all, and you are the best in the wet, we all know that...but 8th!...I'll keep my fingers crossed for you, and don't let that Nicky get in front and make you look stupid on Sunday. I must say Vale, I wish you knew how to develop the bike for God's sake, but that's OK, becasue I know you are are aren't you?

So no dry set up time for the race.
Ducati could regret not doing the earlier test session at Aragon, and opting for private testing in Italy instead.

And Judas hanged himself. Go thee to Coventry and do likewise. Where the hell is Coventry anyway ? Not in my Hemisphere anyway.
Back to topic. Methinks Rossi protesteth too much.
Slips a gear change and as per usual blames the seamless gearbox or whatever provided by Preziosi.
Nevermind, lets enjoy the potential on the 'morrow.
Crikey! I'm almost as popstar as Rossi right now.
Rejoin subject post race.
Hope #46 exploits potential for a change on a Ducati.
