Dani "I'm not a pole man" Pedrosa's amount of lost pole positions because of CRT's and other slower riders is the biggest of any rider in the history of planet Earth, Erra and Zaterra combined. Geesh... and the poor bloke never even complains about it. Sometimes I wonder if he is even aware of his blinding speed that always look worse (on paper) than what it really is but still gives some poles when he's not unlucky.

GO DANI! you are the fastest MAN of MotoGP without Stoner! Know that! Have some confidence my son!

Having said that, he will either WIN or CRASH tomorrow. Hoping for the first.

I agree with most of what you said, but, the reason why Dani is having a late surge has mainly to do with how fast the Honda is, since introducing the 2013 bike in Laguna Seca he's been on a tear, I really like him and he has matured and worked on his flaws this year, but to me personally Lorenzo is just better than Pedrosa because of his consistency, speed and because his prone to less mistakes, plus his having to make due with a bike that hasn't have any big upgrades since early in the season. I think we are going to see something similar to what we saw in Brno few weeks ago. Lets hope.

He can still do it (win the 2012 MotoGP title) but he needs to completely divorce his emotions and really concentrate on the remaining races. I dont think he should have Lorenzo's position in mind.

I was not talking about Dani being on a roll. I was just mentioning how many chances of pole he's denied compared to any other rider this season, not just after Honda introduced the 2013 chassis. I follow Dani closely and he just keeps getting stuffed on his pole bids.

Also, the Honda introduction of the 2013 chassis at Laguna merely reduced the disadvantage to the Yam - which is not so dominat now but make no mistake, it STILL IS the best overall package. Dani is just that fast - almost Stoner like on most days, and faster on some days.
That said, please don't confuse faster with better. I agree with you Lorenzo is the more complete rider mainly because he's more cool headed.

Another thing is Lorenzo already won a premier class title while Pedrosa not, therefore he can ride with less pressure while Dani is having to cope with ever more pressure every year he goes without a title.

who cares if he missed out on Pole, even if it was due to slower riders or crt bikes, everyone is out there trying to set their own fastest time, if the guy infront is on a hot lap you really think he should move out of the way just so one of the top riders can get on pole. this is racing, every man for himself. if thats what you guys think then maybe we should just have a 3 riders in the motogp class.
he has proven every race that he is the quickest starter off the line in MotoGP, Pole doesnt mean you are going to win the race.
