Yup Rossi would have tried for the win, like a TRUE champ, not settle for a weak 2nd.

At least then give Dani the benefit and say that he won fair and square and you stood no chance.

Take that fool, your super smooth Yamaha that can't slidke the rear even if you TRY, seems like it's not the bike to have hahaha

Even Dani is sliding the Honda, and Marquez likes sideways too ... they're gonna wipe you clean next season chump, rear wheel steering has always won championships ...

Just for fun, I played around...

That's ridiculous. Why should Valencia (a crappy circuit) race earn the winner more than, for instance, Montmelo or Mugello.

All races should be worth the same amount of points. This is the base of any Championship. Any other solution is just having a tantrum because your favorite rider is not winning.

Never say never

Can't wait for next year when Rossi will be mixing it at the top and with 4 races to go in 2013, will be in the top 3.
Mark my words. lol.
Just can't help myself and have to say to all the people that said "Rossi has burnt his bridges".
Yamaha took him back. Eat your words guys.
And to finish off, Casey Who? lol.

This shows that racing is not only about being the fastest out there, but also knowing when to go fast or when to settle for second. Lorenzo looks like a true champion. Some said that in the same position Rossi would have gone for the win, I doubt it, maybe the Rossi from 2001 - 2002 would have, but not Rossi of 2008 - 2009. Some say that Honda is a better bike, it could be true, but this brings more credit to Lorenzo being the championship leader. Although I believe that Honda and Yamaha are somewhat even though have different strong points which are visible on distinct tracks. Or I'd better say that the combinations Lorenzo - Yamaha and Pedrosa - Honda are evenly balanced. Stoner could defenetly be a factor in the battle for the title when he's back, but I think Lorenzo is well aware of this as after the Misano win he himself said that he needs still to win races this season...

Lorenzo a title win like that counts think about champ sonce the first gp. You kill the show beeing too renuncier in a lot of occasions.
Rossi, Stoner, Simoncelli, Spencer, all of them were loved for their last lap overtaking, their win voracity. For their unpredictability. You'll never go indide the heart of motosport fans.
Said this, great champ, 2d worst result is a great thing, for sure, but a day you'll ask to you: why, if i won more champ than XXX, i am notr loved (or hated) as them?

Yeah yeah Lorenzo is a chicken for settling for second but Rossi is a true champ for not even willing to ride the Ducati to its limit.
No doubt Rossi is brilliant but the crap people write about him in this site is too much to bother reading let alone commenting.
