This is only the pay back for Suzuka 8 hours kid!! Dont forget the Pata is there for you, if next year you win again the Suzuka you have another chance.. they are very smart, give this opportunity to Rea he flies for free and is eternally grateful for Honda .. Then they bully him back to WSBK and everyone is happy .. Repsol dont whant British riders, only spanish..ehehe

Impresses? Are you serious? He got Stoner's bike and the only thing he can do is to take Rossi out of track, but fight with pedrosa? No way... Fight with Lorenzo to remove him some points? No way.

You got to be kidding

Urgureo I think if you watched the race properly you will see that Rossi made a balls of it himself.
What was he going to do there, ride round the outside of Rea.(I dont think so).

I think Jonny has come in and impressed everybody in the paddock by doing a solid professional job. He's secured very decent results while still learning the bike and hasn't once dropped or damaged a very valuable motorcycle. I think as a stand-in rider he's been far more successful than most.

Got to say I'm a little disappointed with Rea. I expected him to be up there fighting with the satellite Hondas at least. He's on a factory Honda, arguably the best bike. Yes it's a steep learning curve, but more than a second a lap behind his teammate is not where he should be by now.

These people posting negative comments on here on Rea's performance are doing nothing other than prooving they know absolutly NOTHING about the sport!!

If you had any clue you could not possible say what he has acheived is fantastic, why dont you email some people in the paddock who matter see what response you get fools.

started 7th finished 7th so hardly impressive
did he even pass anyone the whole race?
it was good that he didn't crash but seeing as it maybe his last race on it this year you would have thought he'd give it ago or maybe he was at his present limit on the bike and who's to say honda havent turned the engine down to save the engines for stoners return

ok if this is fantastic than what was Katsuyuki Nakasuga's 6th place at Valencia last year when he replaced the injured Lorenzo?

To all the haters, who could of done better? Taking in to account current riders in contracts and racing other championships that didn't have clashing dates? I guess the HRC test riders should of done it so they could be 3-4 seconds of the leaders lap time? If Rea would of binned it through out the tests and race weekends you would of screamed blue murder but he took it in his stride and finished 2 races.
The real bike fans and riders know he did a good solid job simple as that.
