“It's a shame about the mistake on the first lap. Rea couldn't see me and pushed me close to the curb, and I went straight to avoid him” – Valentino Rossi.

@ Its a factas you get older your judgement of distance goes-- just like schumacher, I think Vali has now got the same affliction or wants the track all to himself!! just like schumacher!!

The only people annoyed by mentioning stoner in a rossi thread are those who would bring up rossi in a stoner thread!

As for disagrees, better than indifference!

Yeh, just the way id want to be remembered, having come back to finish in front of a "talent less fraud" running mid-pack.

But, at least, you are probably right!

Credit to him for not blaming Rea until you notice he never laid the blame square at the feet of who really instigated the incident!
Overambitious and clearly too fast into the corner, not something a goat would do is it?
Guilty by omission Vale.

Vale seems to have a difficult job going fast on new tracks these days. Not only this one but Silverstone, never did good at either. I'm a bit worried for next year if they stick those 2 south american dates at the start of the season he could find himself lagging behind rather quickly.

Now, if Stoner had said that it would be called moaning.

In fact Rossi's fastest lap was 1.6 seconds slower than Pedrosa's. I doubt that he could have battled for 6th with that sort of pace. In the closing stages when he had an open track in front of him he did not close the gap on Rea.

One can only hope that he recovers his lost magic on the Yamaha next year. It will be very boring otherwise.
