MotoGP » Rossi last to eighth after Rea tangle

“It's a shame about the mistake on the first lap. Rea couldn't see me and pushed me close to the curb, and I went straight to avoid him” – Valentino Rossi.

I think Rossi did reasonably well considering, and he didn't blame Johnny at all, I think he put more of the blame on himself. Wrong place, wrong time. Pretty much the story of his ducati career.

It was encouraging to see him try and get back up though. Remember in Qatar, he just basically circled, trying to gather data. I think he might have a bit of his fight back hopefully.

Would love to see him finish fifth in the championship.

there is no blame to either Rossi or Rea for that little
touch they had, Rossi had no blame towards Rea at all, Yes Rea was abit earlier on the brakes compared to other riders but that just him getting used to a motogp bike, and you cant say Rossi went in to hot into that corner, he would of used his same braking point as they all do. Was a great fight back from 21st to 8th,
Pedro rode a great ride also, he owned JLo again.

Let's get something straight right here, right now!
Rea braked accordingly to the situation of the riders infront of him, LAP No.1, COLD TYRES!
Rossi made the mistake, not Rea, not the shadowy figure on the grassy knoll and not the damn Easter Bunny.
As my Grandma says, you don't win the race on the first lap!
