MotoGP is not some national sport as some of you make it out to be. Tracks are based upon money, and what the track can generate revenue wise for Dorna and the promoter/track.

Good news. I bet its a great venue. If Motogp can get bigger in America, its good for the sport.

They need an American at the front of the pack to help promote it though, and there aint none. All the Americans on the grid are great personalities as well as riders, it just hasn't worked out the best for them unfortunately

How many spectators will pitch up? How many true MGP fans are there in total in the US.......about as many as there are in Cambridgeshire! The mighty dollar speaks again and stuff the true enthusiast.

No disrespect to Americans but I can remember when there wasn't any American racers not to mention an American circuit and only one Spanish racer on a 196cc Bultaco racing in the 250cc class can't remember his name but he was very good and unfortunately the last I heard, he was killed. That was back in the mid 60s.
Prior to the 70s the only racers were Italian British Swiss German Rhodesian New Zealanders and Australians Oh almost forgot Reg Armstrong Irishman and Mike Duff Canadian.
