It's just a shame Rdp isn't spanish or italian, he would be on a real motogp bike if he was.
I'm not sure why more of the riders don't look at wsbk as an alternative as it is surely a better option than crt bikes, it would be like using a superstock bike in a superbike race, pointless really. If things keep going the way they are motogp will come to an end and to be honest the races are generally that dull would anybody really care.

So much for the story that RdP was moving to BSB....that was never going to happen.
But yes he ought to have something better, would have been great to see him on a competitive bike in WSB, he's got the right take no prisoners attitude for that class.

I totally agree with the view that RDP has consistantly shown his genuine talent in MOTOGP & but for his Nationality would most surely be amongst the "Aliens" at the top of Championship - I just wonder why Herve Poncharel hasn't put him on the Yamaha for next year instead of wasting the seat with Bradley Smith who will add nothing to the spectacle that MOTOGP had in 2010 when RDP was a consistant podium threat & always thrilling to watch.

so bad, if RdP and some others really good riders
was underrated, is about politics motogp fool attitude

if i was RdP i dont trust in that kind of
ambiance...hard to beleive have to see him in
a bad strange situation like that...

wsbk,or bsb is the only way afraid of how much time to enjoy we have before finally ezp destroy everything...

re: "I'm not sure why more of the riders don't look at wsbk as an alternative as it is surely a better option than crt bikes"

'cause their managers suck. historically if you look, riders tend to be the first ones with their heads up their a$$ with regards to what's going on outside the immediate world in which they operate. no slate, just an occupational hazard. when we get off work...? we have the luxury of getting in our cars and driving home. when THEY get off from work...? they are tasked with jumping in a rental car and driving off to some godforsaken airport (rinse, repeat). when this is your life 9 months out of the year, it doesn't leave much time to reflect or be objective. got kids, a wife, or a hot chick to bang...? fuggedaboudit, you don't know what the hell's goin' on.

the phrase you're looking for is known as, "ice skating up hill".
